Privacy Policy

Last updated June 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PitchForge (“PitchForge,” “we,” “us”), operated by PitchForge, collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website and application (the “Service”). It is a template starting point — please review it with qualified legal counsel before relying on it.

Information we collect

How we use your information

AI processing

Proposals are generated using third-party AI models provided by Anthropic. When you forge a proposal, the brief you submit is sent to Anthropic’s API to produce the draft. We do not sell your data, and we ask our processors to handle it only to provide the Service. Please review Anthropic’s privacy practices for details on their handling of API data.

Cookies and sessions

We use a single essential, httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use it for advertising. Disabling cookies will prevent you from logging in.

Data retention

We retain your account and proposal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your proposals and personal information are removed from our database.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as our AI and hosting providers), or where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. You can edit your profile and delete your account at any time from your settings, or contact us at privacy@pitch-forge.net.

Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text, and sessions are signed. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “last updated” date above.
